Casey joins Trapani Architects as principal

Rachel Casey

Burlington, MA Rachel Casey, RA, NCARB, LEED AP has joined Trapani Architects, a NELCO Worldwide company, as principal and healthcare studio leader. As a project architect and project design manager, Casey has more than 15 years of experience leading teams of planners, architects, interior architectural designers and associated consultants in the design of various healthcare projects including outpatient clinics, on campus clinical renovations, emergency rooms, administrative offices and surgical masterplans.

Casey is currently working with Tufts Medical Center, Southcoast Health, Seattle Swedish Health, Dickinson Hospital and Queens Medical Center.

While working for others, she provided design and construction administration services for the new 400,000 s/f pediatric acute care campus at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FLA; design and project management of concurrent, multiple outpatient clinics for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Building for Translational Medicines in Massachusetts. Other clients that she has worked with in the past include Massachusetts General Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, MaineGeneral Medical Center, North Shore Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital. Rachel has an M.Arch from Northeastern University, School of Architecture and a BFA in Environmental Design from Massachusetts College of Art. She is a registered architect with NCARB status and a LEED AP professional.
