CBRE/New England wins seven BOMA Boston TOBY and Industry Awards

CBRE/New England announced that the firm recently took home top honors after receiving seven Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) awards which were presented at the annual BOMA Boston TOBY and Industry Awards held at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. "This award ceremony honors the best buildings and real estate professionals in the Greater Boston area," said Mark Tassinari, executive vice president/partner and head of CBRE/New England property management. "CBRE/NE, once again, clearly stood out as the dominant third-party property management group in the Greater Boston market which is a true testament to the team of dedicated professionals we have working with us at CBRE/NE." The first of CBRE/NE's seven awards went to Patrick Glynn, general manager at 10 Saint James Ave./75 Arlington St. in Boston, who was presented with the "Property Manager of the Year" award in the high-rise category. Cheryl Esper, property manager at One & Two Chestnut Place in Worcester, received the "Property Manager of the Year" award in the mid-rise category. Receiving the "Property Manager of the Year" award in the low-rise category was Keely Calkins, senior property manager at World Trade Center in Boston. Also of note, Jennifer Donoghue, operations manager at 33 Arch St. in Boston, received the BOMA Boston Education Scholarship. CBRE/NE was also honored with three TOBY awards for individual properties under the firm's management; honors included the top 100,000 249,000 s/f office building (One Chestnut Place, Worcester); the top historical building (501 Boylston St., Boston); and the top industrial office park (Forge Park, Franklin). Furthermore, the following properties were recognized for obtaining the "BOMA Boston 360 Performance Building" designation: 501 Boylston St., Boston; 855 Boylston St., Boston; 50 Milk St., Boston; Concord Rd. Corporate Center, Billerica; and One Chestnut Place, Worcester. Erin Bump, assistant property manager at Crosby Corporate Center, was also recognized for obtaining her "Real Property Administrator" designation.
