CCI completes Perseus Books office space
Construction Coordinators, Inc. (CCI), has completed the construction of a new office for The Perseus Books Group. CCI provided construction management services for the 12,000 s/f office at 44 Farnsworth St. Design was provided by Leslie Saul & Associates. Perseus Booksrelocated from Cambridge to the Fort Point Channel neighborhood.
One of the greatest challenges presented by the project involved the unexpected presence of a sprinkler pipe in one of the walls. Original plans called for the demolition of the wall to create a glass entrance and uninterrupted sight line into the library. CCI was able to rework the original plans to create a library that is visible upon entering the office.
