CCIM CT Chapter to host Mid-Year Commercial R.E. Symposium

Milford, CT The CT Chapter of CCIM will hold its Annual Mid-Year Commercial Real Estate Symposium & Wayne D’Amico Memorial Golf Outing on Monday, September 9th at The Great River Golf Club. Registration is now open with early bird pricing before August 1st. The Symposium typically sells out with over 100 commercial real estate professionals, lenders, attorneys and related real estate services in attendance. 

The day begins with the Annual CCIM CT Symposium, featuring industry and business experts discussing “Blockchain in Commercial Real Estate.” In the afternoon, tee off for the beloved Wayne D’Amico Memorial Golf Outing. The day concludes with a dinner reception. 

Michael Rogers

Keynote Speaker - Michael Rogers: Best-selling author, technology pioneer and futurist, who most recently served as futurist-in-residence for The New York Times. Rogers has worked with companies ranging from FedEx, Boeing and NBC Universal to Microsoft, Pfizer and Siemens, focusing on how companies can think about the future in useful ways. He speaks to audiences worldwide and is a regular guest on radio and television, including Good Morning America, the Today Show, PBS, CNN and the History Channel.

Helen Thompson

• Helen Thompson, Esri: Thompson is global strategy manager, real estate, banking and insurance at Esri Inc. A recognized thought leader, keynote speaker and expert on location-based data and spatial analysis, Thompson believes that to do intelligent business the real estate industry first needs to be location intelligent. With more than 30 years’ experience in applying spatial analysis and data to market and tenant analysis, she has helped thousands of companies find new market opportunities by developing a better understanding of people and place.

Max Dilendorf

• Max Dilendorf, Esq. Dilendorf Khurdayan: Dilendorf is the founding partner of Dilendorf Khurdayan, PLLC. Dilendorf’s practice involves real estate and digital assets. For real estate clients, he handles all phases of real estate transactions, including tokenization of real estate, structuring cross-border transactions using digital currency, acquisitions, dispositions and financing of commercial and residential real estate in New York. Dilendorf also advises investors on effective real estate holding structures and tax consequences in connection with ownership, operation and transfers of U.S. real property interests.

• Nick Kammerman, Chateau: Kammerman heads up business development and blockchain solutions at Chateaux Software Development in Westport. He works closely with his technical team to identify opportunities where companies are looking to develop blockchain based applications. Kammerman has been involved in several blockchain projects including True Tickets and Hedgebay. He was selected by the State of CT Commerce Committee to be the chairman of the CT Blockchain Working Group, consisting of technical and business blockchain professionals, as well as state senators and representatives, and tasked with creating legislation that focuses on establishing CT as a desirable place to do this type of work.

Stan Gniazdowski

Moderator: Stan Gniazdowski, CCIM - Gniazdowski is president at Realty Concepts, Inc. During his 45 years in commercial real estate, he has worked with clients like Avalon Bay, Costco, Target, McDonald’s, Marriott Corporation, Rockefeller Group, Walmart, Yale School of Medicine, and UBS. Gniazdowski has provided real estate consulting, appraisal, asset management, litigation support and development consulting to national and international corporations, developers, investors, retailers, governmental agencies, lenders and law firms. He specializes in market and investment analysis, development market analysis and impact analysis, litigation support, specialized appraisal work and asset management. His experience includes single assets in excess of $100 million.

Following the symposium, join CCIM for a round of golf followed by dinner in honor of Wayne D’Amico. Proceeds to benefit the Wayne D’Amico Memorial Fund.
