Boston, MA Join the CCIM Institute for the 2023 Midyear Governance Meetings at The Westin Boston Seaport on April 15-19. Held twice a year, these meetings empower CCIM Institute members to shape the future of the organization and its role in the commercial real estate industry. This year’s event will be held in-person at The Westin Boston Seaport. CCIM Institute is excited for a second consecutive year of in-person event, including networking, education, and connecting directly with your colleagues face-to-face.

Location: The Westin Boston Seaport, 425 Summer St., Boston.

Additional lodging: Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.

What to Know Before You Go - Boston Marathon Edition

Hotel/lodging: Be sure to book lodging before the discount deadline of Friday, March 24.

Traffic: Stay in the Seaport area to avoid marathon traffic on Monday, April 17 (Marathon Day). You can view the marathon route online. Please note that there are no road closures near the Seaport area affecting travel to the airport. All road closures in the city will be published by media outlets closer to the marathon date.

Transportation: Surcharges will more than likely be in effect for any taxis and rideshares (i.e., Uber, Lyft, etc.) on Monday. In addition, there are several public transportation options available:

Bus Station: South Station

Subway Station: World Trade Center, South Station

Train Station: Back Bay Station, South Station

Dining: It›s highly recommended to book restaurant reservations well in advance. Most restaurants in the Seaport area are within walking distance from the hotel.

Midyear Governance Meetings Welcome Reception

Saturday, April 15, 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. EDT

Kick off your meetings or exam experience with a reception where you can meet CCIM Institute leadership and first-time attendees. NOTE: Attendees must print their badge and ticket at the CCIM Institute registration desk prior to attending this reception. Preregistration is required.

Operation Ping Pong: A CCIM Chapter Networking Event to Benefit the CCIM Foundation’s Veterans Scholarship Program

Sunday, April 16, 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. EDT |  SPIN Boston (30 Melcher St.)

Join the New England CCIM Chapter and CCIM Foundation for the premier networking and fundraising event at the 2023 CCIM Institute Midyear Governance Meetings. This year’s event will be held at SPIN, a fun and dynamic ping pong social club located in Seaport, Boston’s historic Fort Point District. Throughout the evening, there will be a silent auction, a raffle, and the opportunity to challenge professional ping pong players - all to benefit the CCIM Foundation’s Veterans Scholarship Program. Preregistration is required.

CCIM Institute Global President David Schnitzer, CCIM, and the management team will open up the floor to answer any and all questions from membership. Engage with the organization’s leadership to get a better understanding of where the CCIM Institute aims to go in the future.

Deals & Drinks: “...Where Everybody Knows Your Name” Cheers to Boston

Monday, April 17, 5:15 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. EDT

Make your next business connection at Deals and Drinks. At this perennial favorite event, CCIM Institute members can present property haves and wants to fellow attendees. To submit your deal, download the required PowerPoint template. Replace all example property information with your own, including headshot and property photo (Note: all information must fit on your one PowerPoint slide). Then email your PowerPoint slide to Becca Daly at [email protected].

Each presenter can submit two properties this year. Submissions are open to all property types and there is no dollar volume requirement. Please email your submission no later than Thursday, March 30. All submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee who will contact all selected presenters. RPAC Reception

The Realtors Political Action Committee works on all three levels of government - federal, state, and local - to create a strong business environment. Visit with RPAC representatives and learn more about advocacy work for the CCIM Institute and the commercial real estate industry.
