Celebrate World FM Day with Planon on July 13

Boston, MA This year Planon is taking a unique and creative approach to celebrating World FM Day, on July 13, by empowering individuals to send e-cards to the facility manager in their life. World FM Day aims to raise the profile of the FM profession, as FMs serve a very important role in providing the necessary direction for successful real estate management through physical property operations, personnel, and finances. This year’s World FM Day theme is “Empowering people for a productive world.” What better way to empower facility managers to be more productive than by showing appreciation for all the work they have done with an e-card?

“We wanted to take an unconventional approach to celebrating the day by offering professionals the opportunity to personally thank facility managers by sending them e-cards,” said Ellen Schwier, marketing manager of North America.

“These cards are a fun and innovative way to help raise the profile of the FM profession, and allow individuals in their organizations to reflect on their achievements over the past year.”

World FM Day, which is led by Global FM through its World FM Day Task Force, has been an annual celebration since 2009. Help celebrate the day by joining Planon in a National initiative supported by IFMA of thanking an FM professional one e-card at a time.
