Charter Realty completes 59,030 s/f of deals at Springfield Plaza
Charter Realty has completed four deals totaling 59,030 s/f in the Springfield Plaza Center. Springfield Plaza is 550,000 s/f shopping center.
K-Mart, Super Stop and Shop, and TJMAXX anchor this center. Springfield Plaza has a total of 3,500 parking spots, and is located near the border of Conn. and Mass. The center is located on Liberty St.
The newest deal at Springfield is with Planet Fitness, a "judgment free" fitness center with 642 locations across the country. Planet Fitness is based primarily in the northeast with its headquarters in Newington, N.H. The 20,000 s/f that they will occupy is currently under construction.
Also in the center is Aaron's Rentals, a company where you lease your own electronics, and furniture, which renewed its lease of 8,030 s/f .
Rocky's Ace Hardware, a hardware store that renewed its lease of 25,500 s/f is also in the center.
Finally the 99 Restaurant a pub chain with over 100 locations throughout the northeast also renewed its lease of 5,500 s/f.
Wallingford, CT O,R&L Commercial has completed the $3.8 million sale of a mixed-use investment property located at 33-39 North Main St. and 24-25 Wallace Ave. in the town center.
