Boston, MA On the night of October 27th, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) honored Mike Fish, president & CEO of Dellbrook|JKS and CAC board member, alongside Boston Police superintendent Lanita Cullinane, at its annual Step Up & Speak Out Benefit.

Each year, the benefit celebrates individuals who have demonstrated a unique level of support for the CAC’s mission in responding to children and families who are victims of violence, exploitation, and abuse.

“This recognition means the world to me, and I am incredibly proud to support the CAC,” said Fish, “but it is the work of its team and partners that must be appreciated most. Each day, the amazing individuals working for the CAC meet unbelievably difficult situations with courage, empathy, and resolve. Their strength and determination are what really makes a difference in the lives of survivors and I can’t thank them enough; they are a true inspiration.”

With the help of sponsors including Dellbrook|JKS, and generous community members, the event raises funds that maintain the organization’s work in protecting Boston’s most vulnerable population. After canceling the event for two years due to COVID-19, the CAC and its donors achieved a record-breaking $593,925 of funds raised.

Contributing to this total, the benefit featured various raffles with opportunities for guests to bid on unique experiences and gifts. Attendees also enjoyed a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a buffet-style dinner, and a live auction led by Journalist Janet Wu and Mike Fish.
