Chimbila named life enrichment director at Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk

Norwalk, CT EPOCH Senior Living has named Tasha Chimbila life enrichment director at Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk, a 64-suite memory care assisted living community that will open at 123 Richards Ave. this fall. Chimbila will develop and lead a diverse activities program to foster physical, mental and emotional engagement for residents living with memory loss.

Prior to joining Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk, Chimbila served as dementia coordinator and recreation director for two local senior living communities. A certified dementia practitioner, Chimbila also holds certifications in Alzheimer’s exercise, aging rights, recreational therapy and gerontology.

Chimbila has an associate’s degree in human services from Norwalk Community College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in clinical social work from Fordham University, which she expects to complete in 2018.
