Thru the Lens: City Realty Group donates Chromebooks at the Timothy L. Riley Education & Training Center

Gloucester, MA City Kids, a youth education nonprofit created by City Realty Group, donated 20 Chromebooks to Action Inc., a local nonprofit and community action agency. For more than 50 years, Action Inc. has been a champion for the people and communities of Cape Ann. The mission of Action Inc. is to build an equitable and resilient community by creating opportunities for all on Cape Ann. City Kids makes this donation to support youth education programs provided by Action Inc. in local communities.

City Realty Group vice president of marketing Maggie Flynn and marketing associate Haley Cornell delivered the Chromebooks to Action Inc’s Timothy L. Riley Education and Training Center, located at 180 Main St. They were accompanied by Hope and Teddy Spiegel, managers at The Studio Restaurant in Gloucester. The Studio provided catering services for the students and faculty, who were treated to cuisine from one of the town’s finest restaurants during their class break.

City Kids and Action Inc. both strive to provide underserved youth with education resources and opportunities that inspire their imagination and lead to future success. City Realty Group managing partners Fred Starikov and Stephen Whalen founded a nonprofit, City Kids, to spark intellectual curiosity among the children of Boston by providing them unique experiences and powerful educational resources. City Kids seeks to leverage new technologies to provide kids with powerful tools to follow their educational curiosity. In addition to its own programs, City Kids regularly supports community events and programs throughout the city of Boston.
