Clark of Shanley Realtors sells 2 ice cream businesses

Dudley Clark of Shanley Realtors, LLC, facilitated the sale of two southern Maine based ice cream businesses. With the assistance of Clark, Carolyn Garrett and Tom Brennan are the new owners of The Village Scoop in York Village and The Ice Cream House in Cape Neddick. Clark worked with former owner Arnold Undzis and his wife Nancy to coordinate the transition. The Undzis' bought The Village Scoop in 2003. In 2006, the pair recognized an opportunity to take advantage of the seasonal traffic along Rte. 1 in Cape Neddick and opened The House Cream House. Garrett's background is corporate America with this being her first venture into the ice cream business. Thomas Elias, Esq, of Elias Law Offices represented the interests of the Undzis while David Ballou, Esq, of Ballou and Bedell. represented Garrett and Brennan.
