Clean & Green Power, LLC, through its affiliate, Longshore Partners, LLC, has completed its assemblage of coastal area property on which it plans to erect a system of wind turbines.
The Huntley Wind Cooperative is currently in the design phase for a 3.0 megawatt power generating facility. The project development costs have been estimated at $7.7 million. The State of Connecticut development funds have been applied for by Clean & Green Power and the project has been presented to and accepted for consideration by the State of Connecticut.
Though its financier, which is packaging several similar small wind turbine projects around the country into a single portfolio, the Huntley Wind Cooperative will be substantially funded through the use of federal tax credits for alternative energy which are part of the Obama Administration's Federal Stimulus Package recently approved by the United States House of Representatives.
Principals of Clean & Green Power include David Anderson, former legislator from the State of Connecticut who coauthored the Clean Energy Bill in 1986; real estate broker Timothy Londregan, and renewable energy expert, Hans Hartman.
