Colantonio Inc. receives three historical preservation awards

Holliston, MA Colantonio Inc. was recognized with several historical preservation awards for its renovations of the Massachusetts State House Senate Chamber, Fitchburg Yarn Works and Eliot Innovation School.

The rehabilitation & restoration of the State House Senate Chamber was honored by the Massachusetts Historical Commission with a 2019 Preservation Award at its annual ceremony.  The project also received a Boston Preservation Alliance Achievement Award. 

The Fitchburg Yarn Works, a gut renovation of the former Nockege River Mill building near downtown Fitchburg, received a mayor Thomas Menino Legacy Award from Preservation Massachusetts.  The building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, now provides 96 units of mixed-income housing. 

The Eliot Innovation School was a complete rehab of the former North Bennet Street School for the City of Boston. The project received a received a mayor Thomas Menino Legacy Award from Preservation Massachusetts.
