Colliers International completes $2.5 million sale at 194 Howard St.

Lawrence and Memorial Hospital has purchased a 48,000 s/f office building formerly occupied by Pfizer Inc., located at 194 Howard St. for $2.5 million. According to a hospital spokesperson, the building will be retrofitted to accommodate physicians who have been scattered throughout L&M's main campus and several converted homes along Montauk Avenue and in the Shaw's Cove complex. They anticipate renovations to be completed for early 2014 occupancy. Stephanie Pious, a senior broker of Colliers International's Hartford office, represented Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in this transaction. Nicholas Morizio, SIOR, CRE, also of Colliers International represented the seller, Amber Properties LLC.
