Collins joins Atlantic Retail Properties as managing director

According to Atlantic Retail Properties, a full-service retail brokerage firm representing major retailers and developers along the east coast, leading industry expert Thomas Collins has joined the company as managing director and will be headquartered in the Northeast office. The position was specifically created for Collins, who is now responsible for the strategic direction of the firm providing leadership focused on performance, marketing, branding and growth. "There are very few individuals in the commercial real estate industry with the experience, expertise or reach that Tom has developed over his career," said Bryan Anderson, managing partner of Atlantic Retail Properties. "I'm thrilled to be joining such a highly respected and accomplished firm whose partners understand the importance of integrating new platforms, technologies and services that will best support our clients," said Collins.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
