Collins joins Equity Office Properties as regional director of operations

According to Equity Office Properties Brian Collins has been hired to serve as regional director of operations. Collins brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment management to this role.

Formerly, Collins was a director at Long Wharf Real Estate Partners and was involved in the group's asset management activities. In his career, Collins has managed the complex relationships among local operating partners, brokers and property managers, including overseeing development, marketing, leasing, operations, and loan restructures and dispositions.
Prior to that, Collins was a director involved in asset management at the Fidelity Real Estate Group. Prior to joining Fidelity in 1999, he was a senior auditor in the Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group of Ernst & Young LLC, where he performed audits of public and private real estate investment companies.
Collins earned his B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers, BOMA Boston, the Boston Real Estate Finance Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
