Columbia Construction donates hundreds of toys at holiday party

Columbia Construction Co. recently organized a Toys for Tots campaign in conjunction with their company holiday party. The entire staff donated hundreds of toys and presented them in a formal ceremony to military personnel from Fort Devens, HM1 Wymon Anderson and GySgt Andrew Glazier. "I had been reading and hearing in the press that donations to Toys for Tots were down 50%", said Jim Marsh, senior vice president and COO of Columbia Construction. "Many of us are so blessed and, as a company, we were feeling so fortunate to be able to still have our holiday event given the economic downturn. We just felt our party would be missing something if we didn't reach out to those less fortunate than ourselves. It was a pleasure to have HM1 Wymon Anderson and GySgt. Andrew Glazier join us. Their presence gave us and our event a higher purpose." Drawing on over 80 years of experience, Columbia Construction provides construction management services throughout New England. Their primary goal is to serve as a construction partner to our clients and to provide them with innovative solutions. The company is focused within the academic, life sciences, commercial, corporate, healthcare, and housing/hospitality market sectors.
