Newton, MA Commodore Builders (Commodore) was recognized by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Massachusetts as a 2014 National Award winner for Excellent Safety Record. Commodore was honored amongst 24 industry-leading firms at an awards breakfast held at the Boston College Club. The National AGC Safety Awards are based on a stringent, nationwide program and provide an excellent opportunity for organization members to evaluate their safety record compared to other firms of similar size and construction type across the country. Of the 24 firms recognized at the awards breakfast, 14 received AGC of America National Safety Awards (including Commodore), with the remaining 10 earning AGC of Massachusetts Merit Awards. Commodore was honored for its Excellent Safety Record due in part to its solid understanding of the importance and benefits of a safe work environment.
