Connecticut Building Congress to focus on Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital on February 14th

The Connecticut Building Congress will focus its February program on the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital on February 14th. C. Bradford Bevers, AIA, EJD (executive director, facilities design and construction management, Yale New Haven Health System), Greg Heiges, Associate AIA (director, Shepley Bulfinch), Steven Levin, PE (principal, Bard, Rao + Athanas Consulting Engineers, LLC), Robert Golde, ASLA (partner, Towers/Golde), and Robert Buckley (project executive, Turner Construction) will speak about their role on the project. CBC will donate a portion of the program's proceeds to the Yale New Haven Smilow Cancer Center to help its fight against cancer. Learn from the project team how they worked together to design and build a complex project on a challenging urban site. The Smilow Cancer Hospital project won first place in the 2011 Connecticut Building Congress Project Team Awards New Construction category. There will be a Valentine's door prize of a dinner for two at Connecticut Magazine's 2012 Readers' Choice statewide winner for Best Overall Restaurant. The program will pack an incredible amount of knowledge into a short period of time, allowing for you to make dinner with your Valentine.
