Connecticut CCIM Chapter Deal of the Month - $1.65m sale of 538-550 Broad St.
Hartford, CT The Connecticut CCIM Chapter said that Brandon Rush of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services - Cozzi Team represented the seller in the sale of 538-550 Broad St.
The property, known as the Broad Street Twins, are two brick multi-family properties in the Frog Hollow neighborhood within walking distance to the Capitol Building. The 12 units are three-bedroom, two-bedroom, one-bedroom and office space, renovated in “New York” style with modern HVAC. Updates include new roofs, paved driveway, front and rear decks.
The property was listed in February, 2023 without an asking price on commercial websites for privacy. Multiple offers above evaluation were received and a 1031 Exchange buyer found it a perfect fit. The transaction closed on July 18, 2023 for $1.65 million. Molly Bradbury of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services - Cozzi Team was the cooperating agent.
