Connecticut chapter of CCIM receives "Chapter of Excellence" award

The Connecticut chapter of the CCIM Institute was recently awarded the "Chapter of Excellence" award at the Institute's spring business conference in Chicago. The award is presented to Institute chapters that have met certain criteria through the year.
Frederick Petrella, CCIM and chapter president accepted the award and said, "It is an honor to accept the award on behalf of the Connecticut chapter. This recognition from the CCIM Institute is as a result of our continued commitment to provide a valued service to our members."
The Connecticut chapter comprised of 86 commercial real estate professionals and affiliates which meet regularly to provide its members with networking and educational programs structured to enhance their ability to serve their clients.
The CCIM business network encompasses more than 1,000 markets throughout North America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. Of the estimated 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America, more than 9,000 currently hold the CCIM designation. CCIM designees include professionals who work in brokerage, investment and development, the corporate environment, property management, appraisal and related segments of commercial real estate.
