Connecticut Commercial leases 4,500 s/f to Anytime Fitness

The Somers office of Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes has leased a 4,500 s/f fitness center in the plaza known as Somers Crossing located at 95 South Rd. Victoria Clark, the firm's broker and owner, represented the lessor, Somers Crossing, LLC also represented by attorney Brenda Draghi of The Law Office of Brenda Draghi in Ellington, Conn. The lessee, Anytime Fitness franchise, owned by Michelle and Greg Scanlon who will lease the space through CGT Enterprises, LLC. Anytime Fitness plans to be open for business in the spring of 2013. The high-tech fitness facility is open 24 hours a day allowing its members to access the center on their own schedule. The 24-hour access is protected by a security system with access granted only to members. Anytime Fitness will feature both the newest cardio equipment and free weights plus a group exercise room that members can use for a variety of activities. Construction is underway at the Somers Crossing location and owners expect to be on site soon to answer questions regarding the facility and membership. Anytime Fitness joins Cutting Loose Salon, Geissler's Supermarket, Kaman's Wine and Liquors and ECHN in the plaza and is a welcome addition to the Somers community and surrounding towns. Connecticut Commercial Realty also continues to market the last two vacant spaces in this beautiful plaza consisting of 1,300 s/f and a 5,000 s/f unit which is dividable.
