15 Wawecus Street - Norwich, CT

Norwich, CT The New London office of Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes has completed the sale of 15 Wawecus St., in the Norwichtown section.  The Butler-type structure,consisting of  5,100 s/f, with a mezzanine of 1,500 s/f, is situated on .55+/- acre of land zoned General Commercial, and was sold at a contract price of $ 450,000. 

The property, which was owned by John J. O,Neil, was constructed in the early  1970s, and served as the home of the Walski Supply Company, an electrical supplies distributorship.  With the sale of the Norwichtown  property, The  Walski Company is terminating operations.

The property was purchased by Platteborze, LLC, and after remodeling, will become the new home of America’s Best Defense Martial Arts. The latter has been doing business in Norwich for the past fourteen years, and currently is located on West Main St. The firm provides martial arts instruction to both adults and children. They plan to open in their new location after the first of the year.
