Connecticut SIORs visit SIOR New Jersey Chapter meeting

The New Jersey Chapter of SIOR held a Chapter meeting on April 6 at the Kona Grill. The Chapter was very well represented with approximately 30 members in attendance and two visiting SIORs from Connecticut. Tom Hill III, SIOR, CCIM, and Kevin Geenty SIOR, the Northeast U.S. regional director of SIOR, were very pleased to spend time with the New Jersey SIORs, several of whom they have recently completed cooperative transactions with. There was a great deal of positive discussion during the business meeting about the possibility of the Chapter making a very sizable donation to the SIOR Foundation in memory of David Houston SIOR, CRE, FRICS, who passed away last year. Houston was a past president of the SIOR Foundation as well as a past president of the SIOR National organization, and a contributor to the national commercial real estate scene in numerous ways over many years.
