Connor named CFO and treasurer of Toll Bros.

Toll Brothers, Inc. has namedMartin Connor as chief financial officer and treasurer. Connor, a senior vice president, joined the company in late 2008 as its assistant chief financial officer. He replaces Joel Rassman, 65, who passed away on September 14 after an extended illness. Beginning in 1986, Connor spent over 20 years at the accounting firm of Ernst & Young ("EY"), where he served large public real estate and insurance clients as an Audit and Advisory Business Services partner. He ran EY's Real Estate Practice in the Philadelphia area from 2001 to 2006 and for seven years, from 1998 to 2005, served as an audit partner on the Toll Brothers relationship. In this capacity, he had extensive involvement in Toll Brothers' operations, accounting and tax systems, and advised senior management and the company's board of directors on various financial, accounting, tax and other related issues. He assisted the company with debt and equity offerings, its filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the evaluation of complex accounting, due diligence and structuring matters related to various acquisitions and investments. After leaving EY in 2006, Connor served as the CFO and director of operations for a $4 billion, diversified commercial real estate development company in the Mid-Atlantic region, and also founded and operated a successful finance and accounting consulting practice. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a Certified Public Accountant.
