Consalvo of Tower Realty completes $10.34 million sale of 170,000 s/f

Danbury, CT Mick Consalvo of Tower Realty completed the $10.34 million sale of a 170,000 s/f complex that houses 18 commercial and industrial tenants.  The buyer, Shelter Rock Associates LLC, is thrilled to be the new owners of this outstanding property.  They are a group of three individual investors from the greater Danbury area.

The original three-building site was built in 1955 as the new headquarters of industrial robotics company Unimation. The facility underwent renovations and expansions in 1986, 2007 and 2009, and was upgraded over a year ago with a high-efficiency ventilation system.

Consalvo represented both the buyer and seller in this transaction. “One of the main aspects the buyers liked, was how very well maintained the facility is. This is a tribute to the former owners (Jay Moody and Ken Fantel). The building has city water, sewer, gas, full sprinklers, 340-car parking, heavy electrical power and good access to I-84. All things that potential tenants look for,” said Consalvo.

Financing for the acquisition was provided by Union Savings Bank.
