Hartford, CT Hard Rock International – owner of one of the world’s most iconic and recognized brands – has made plans for Hard Rock Hotel Hartford, a new-build 170-room property set to open fall 2018 in the Connecticut capital city’s evolving Downtown North (DoNo) neighborhood. Developed in collaboration with Centerplan Companies and managed by Hard Rock International, the hotel will be situated at the meeting of Main and Trumbull Sts. Welcoming locals and visitors alike, Hard Rock Hotel Hartford will serve as a top regional attraction and complement the city’s new minor league stadium, as part of DoNo’s long-term redevelopment plan.

“We’re excited to bring the Hard Rock brand to New England in a city as welcoming as Hartford,” said Marco Roca, executive vice president of global hotel development at Hard Rock International. “We look forward to being a part of Hartford’s Downtown North evolution as one of the most exciting new neighborhoods in the region.”

“The collaboration with Hard Rock International is a transformative moment for the redevelopment of Downtown North and speaks to the strength and viability of the Hartford market,” said Robert Landino, CEO of Centerplan Companies – developers of the DoNo project. “The involvement of a world-class company like Hard Rock International is resounding evidence of the ability of Downtown North’s redevelopment to attract and sustain long-term growth.”

Plans for Hard Rock Hotel Hartford call for an assortment of unmatched amenities, such as a rooftop pool and lounge inviting guests to enjoy the picturesque Downtown North and Hartford skylines, including the Capital Dome. Additionally, the property will feature brand-exclusive offerings, including a contemporary Hard Rock Cafe, Body Rock workout facility, Rock Spa featuring the brand’s signature Rhythm & Motion spa menu, and a Rock Shop where fans will be able to purchase the brand’s iconic merchandise.

“We’re very excited about this opportunity as it brings so much to an already great city,” said Jason Rudnick, president of Centerplan Companies. “The glowing iconic guitar of the Hard Rock brand lighting up downtown Hartford will be a symbol to all residents and visitors that Connecticut’s Capital City is a primary destination.”
