October 15, 2008 - Construction Design & Engineering
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America has recognized Consigli Construction Co., Inc.'s commitment to worker safety with an AGC Member Safety Award, given to those firms that have maintained an exceptional job site safety record.
Consigli has an in-depth safety training program designed to give employees and subcontractors the training and tools necessary to keep jobsites safe.  As part of the program, Consigli requires OSHA 10-hour certification for all project personnel, plus any state-mandated training.  Additionally, Consigli project management staff and field superintendents are required to be OSHA 30-hour certified.
Consigli also holds blue-level status - the highest possible - in the Construction Health and Safety Excellence (CHASE) partnership, a partnering program between the AGC of Mass. and OSHA Region I - Mass. Consigli's acceptance into the Blue Level was determined by several qualifying safety initiatives that the company employs.
