CoreNet Global NE Chapter President’s Message: Professional development opportunities & Fall events

The chapter has had a busy summer preparing for the fall events and programming season, including the launch of the Leadership 2.0 Professional Development Program, which will welcome 15 participants to the 2022-2023 cohort.

Continuing our mission to provide value for service providers and end users alike, this program– like many of our CoreNet Global New England programs– will be focused on learning from industry leaders with expertise ranging from executive coaching to bestselling authors to Heads of Global Real Estate. With topics including effective communication and equitable leadership, we couldn’t be more excited for this year’s cohort.

We are proud of CoreNet Global New England’s commitment to professional development and are continually looking through a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) lens. The chapter’s DEI Committee has partnered once again this summer with The Corporate Real Estate Success Training (CREST) program with the goal to diversify the corporate real estate industry, provide recruitment support and facilitate connections with academic institutions housing the top talent in the Boston area. From June through August 2022, seven of the 26 CREST interns had the opportunity to work with CoreNet Global New England organizations, such as CBRE, Hobbs Brook Real Estate, J. Calnan & Associates, JLL, Liberty Mutual, and more.

We hit a record number of event attendees as our Programs Committee invited corporate real estate professionals to Cambridge, MA on August 10th for a tour of the Sanofi HQ, including the newly developed workplace and a lab building, sponsored by Sanofi, Northstar, Red Thread + Steelcase, MovePlan and Acentech. We’re already looking forward to an evening at Analog Devices for networking, refreshments and a tour of their Wilmington, MA campus. Stay tuned for registration details on the event calendar on our website!

In our longstanding mission to give back to the community, this year at the 21st Annual Golf Tournament on October 6th at Pinehills Golf Club, a portion of the tournament proceeds will support The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. The annual 2022 Golf Outing sponsorships are selling quickly– currently open to general members of CoreNet Global New England– and we will soon be taking registrations for the onsite pro golf clinic where you can sharpen your skills for next year. Stay up to date on general registration online or by subscribing to the CoreNet Global New England newsletter.

Not only does becoming a member of CoreNet Global New England provide a source of inspiration, connection and growth, but also connects you with one of the world’s largest networks of real estate professionals. Some of the many benefits include:
