CresaPartners represents CDM in 180,000 s/f lease renewal
According to MetLife Real Estate Investments, CDM has renewed its lease at One Cambridge Place. CDM occupies the entire 180,000 s/f office building located in the East Cambridge/Kendall Square submarket.
CDM, a tenant at One Cambridge Place since the building was constructed in 1998, is a global consulting, engineering, construction, and operations firm that serves both public and private clients and has over 700 in-state employees. With over 60 years in the Boston/Cambridge area, CDM embodies the successful forward-thinking industries that define the East Cambridge/Kendall Square office and lab submarket. Headquartered in Cambridge, CDM has more than 4,000 employees in 117 offices worldwide.
Representing CDM during the transaction were CresaPartner's chief executive officer William Goade and principals Christopher Crooks and Adam Subber. Senior vice president, John Miller and senior associate, Jeffrey Moore of Lincoln Property Company handled the negotiations for MetLife.
In addition to One Cambridge Place, MetLife also owns Two and Three Cambridge Place, which total to approximately 300,000 s/f of Class A office and lab space in East Cambridge. Lincoln Property Company is the leasing and management agent for all three properties, and their efforts have brought the combined properties to 99% occupied. "We are thrilled that CDM has decided to remain long term," said Miller. "They have been an important tenant of Cambridge Place since it was built in 1998."
