Skanska USA has hired David Cripe as project executive. Cripe brings more than 17 years of healthcare, higher education, and commercial construction experience to Skanska to provide project management oversight, while also developing Skanska's portfolio throughout Connecticut and greater New England.
"As Skanska continues to manage and construct some of the area's most integral facilities, it is critical for Skanska to maintain a qualified, talented and respected workforce," said Al Gogolin, senior vice president of Skanska USA's New Haven office. "David's strong track record in healthcare construction, combined with his thoughtful management style and experience as an owner and builder, provide him with the ideal skill set to position Skanska for additional growth throughout Connecticut and greater New England."
Cripe has managed a range of healthcare projects across the nation. For the past five years, he served as senior capital projects manager for Yale University, where he managed construction for the school's University Health Center. Cripe also worked as a construction manager on projects for the Hospital Corporation of America, Vanderbilt University, and Loyola University Medical Center.
