The latest invitation was to speak to 300 attendees at a real estate services conference hosted by American Residential Properties, a fully integrated and internally managed real estate investment company, organized as a real estate investment trust (REIT). Alan Mooney, president of Criterium Engineers and well-known expert in building inspection services, was one of the session leaders of the two day educational event held in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Mooney's presentation entitled, Restore and Refurbish: balancing cost with durability and performance discussed the options for optimizing home performance, explained the difference between service life and practical life and offered advice on repair costs and maintenance cycles.
