Over 50 attend Conn. CCIM chapter’s self-storage breakfast panel on April 5

Waterbury, CT The Connecticut CCIM chapter held a self-storage breakfast panel and industry networking event on April 5 at the Country Club of Waterbury. The panel was comprised of leading self-storage experts including Connie Neville, self-storage broker with SVN and president of the New England Self Storage Association; Patrick Lemp, self-storage appraiser with Valbridge Property Advisors; Rich Evans, VP/loan officer with Community Investment Corp. (annual chapter sponsor); and Dick Bettencourt of MakoRabco.

Eric Amodio, MBA, CCIM, president of the CCIM Connecticut chapter welcomed the crowd of over 50 attendees and thanked the attendance of many chapter annual sponsors. Chapter board members Jeff Ryer, CCIM, SIOR and Tom Hill, III, CCIM, SIOR moderated the panel and Q&A session.

The event was a timely and lively perspective on the current state of the self-storage market frenzy, status of new and conversion projections, construction cost issues, analysis and forecasting and where future opportunities lie in the self-storage market locally.
