After graduating from Harvard College in 1992, and the University of California in 1998, with degrees in City Planning (Berkeley) and law (Hastings College of the Law), Mr. Eigerman began his career as a Deputy City Attorney for the City & County of San Francisco. For seven years, he was an associate and then partner with San Francisco land-use boutique Reuben & Junius LLP, where he remains of counsel. Mr. Eigerman was then senior counsel at Goulston & Storrs. Mr. Eigerman is a member of the American Planning Association and the Urban Land Institute, and is a LEED Accredited Professional for Operations & Maintenance. His most recent publication is "Trends in Sustainability Regulation," Hotel Sustainable Development: Principles and Best Practices, AH&LEI (2011). "Both Karen and Jared will allow us to offer an even wider and deeper real estate knowledge base to our already significant real estate practice. We are thrilled they have decided to join us and look forward to working with them. These additions will solidify our standing as a prominent firm in the region," said managing partner Barry Finegold. Earlier this year, the firm added Ken MacKenzie, former co-leader of the Goulston & Storrs Hospitality and Recreation Group, and Christine Sullivan Higgins, formerly at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, who focuses on Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Asset-Based lending. "We are turning a lot of heads, and have had a great year so far. Our big firm work ethic, coupled with our ability to deliver big firm services at a small firm price has been very attractive to our clients, particularly in the current economic environment," said Ken MacKenzie. Dalton & Finegold, LLP's other areas of focus are residential real estate, civil litigation, estate planning, bankruptcy, and business law in industries ranging from high technology and pharma, to restaurant, retail, and professional services.
