Newton, MA The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. celebrated the grand opening of Dana-Farber – Chestnut Hill at its Life Time Center property (formerly the Atrium Mall). Developed and owned by an affiliate of the company, the property is located at 300 Boylston St. Dana-Farber’s new 140,000 s/f, two-floor hospital facility will serve as a multi-disciplinary setting, featuring a wide range of cancer therapies, clinical trials, and supportive services for adult patients and families throughout the region.
With 61 infusion chairs, 49 exam rooms, private infusion bays filled with natural light and heated infusion chairs, and a Pan-Mass Dining Pavilion, Dana-Farber – Chestnut Hill provides a high level of comfort and support to adult patients. Treatment groups practicing there include breast oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, genitourinary oncology, gynecologic oncology, thoracic oncology, and palliative and psychosocial oncology.

The opening of Dana-Farber – Chestnut Hill concludes Bulfinch’s redevelopment and repositioning of the former Atrium Mall into Life Time Center, an innovation hub for medicine and wellness in the region. Acquired by an affiliate of Bulfinch a few years ago, the property underwent renovations to transform the mall into a medical and wellness destination. The revitalized Life Time Center is a 290,000 s/f, LEED Gold certified healthcare facility with large, efficient floor plates, a sunlit atrium, a 1,000 space free parking garage, and a private Life Time Center shuttle to the MBTA Chestnut Hill Green Line.
Life Time Center is conveniently situated on Route 9 East at the gateway to Chestnut Hill’s well-established retail, business, and medical corridor, and is in close proximity to the world-renowned Longwood Medical Area. In addition, the property is just steps to more than 1 million square feet of urban conveniences within three newly reinvented mixed-use developments.
