Derkac joins Equity Office as leasing mgr.

Equity Office Properties hired Britton Derkac to the Equity Office team as leasing manager. ?In his new role, Derkac will be a part of the leasing team focusing on the Downtown Boston, Cambridge and suburban markets. "We are very pleased to announce the addition of Derkac to the Equity Office leasing team," said Greg Shay, president, Boston Region. Prior to joining Equity Office, Derkac worked for CB Richard Ellis on their western suburban brokerage team and was recognized as the CB Richard Ellis - New England Rookie of the Year in 2007. A graduate of Brown University, with honors, he is a former member of the Boston Cannons. Equity Office owns and manages approximately 11 million square feet in downtown Boston including signature properties such as Rowes Wharf, 100 Summer Street and 28 State Street. Equity Office is owner and operator of primarily Class A office buildings in multiple markets across the country. ?The company is an affiliate of The Blackstone Group, a premier global private equity firm.
