Dessalines joins Avison Young as research analyst

Boston, MA According to Tom Collins, Avison Young principal and managing director of the firm’s New England region, the firm has hired commercial real estate professional Nick Dessalines.  

Effective immediately, Dessalines becomes a research analyst in the company’s city office, supporting Avison Young with a variety of research initiatives as the location grows locally and globally. Dessalines will assist in tracking, analyzing, and forecasting the market. On a global scale, he will support the firm’s Innovation and Global Research teams. 

“I’ve known Nick since his senior year at Stonehill,” said Collins. “I have been following his development in commercial real estate and  I’m thrilled he has decided to join our team.” 

“We are tremendously excited to have Nick join us as member of the Boston office and global research team,” said Tucker White, senior research analyst at Avison Young, also based in the city.  “Nick’s background in tracking the Greater Boston market and his ability to take a deep dive into the trends influencing our industry will allow us to grow further and continually provide exceptional information and advice.”

Prior to joining Avison Young, Dessalines was a data analyst for JLL focusing on the Greater Boston and Harford markets. He holds a bachelor of arts in Economics from Stonehill College.

“I’m very excited to join the Avison Young team in Boston,” said Dessalines. “I am really looking forward to the opportunity to expand our research team to better serve our clients.”
