DeStefano Architects honored with People’s Choice Excellence in Architecture Design Award from AIANH

Portsmouth, NH DeStefano Architects (D|A) was honored to receive the 2016 People’s Choice Excellence in Architecture Design Award from the American Institute of Architects New Hampshire chapter (AIANH). This year the awards were presented at the 32nd Annual Design Awards Gala, held at LaBelle Winery in Amherst.

D|A’s lake region residential design, entitled “Summer Serenity” was voted to win the People’s Choice Award in an online poll, selected out of 42 entries.  The 9,000 s/f residence was designed so every room has a view of the water.  The site was developed by carefully chosen masters of trade.  Custom millwork and landscape architecture helped win this home the award.  D|A shared the award with the project team: Jonathan Lovering & Sons served as the general contractor, Urban Dwellings provided interior design and Rob Hoover of HBLA served as the project’s landscape architect.  Residential design of the home was previously recognized and awarded by the New Hampshire Home Builder’s Association in 2015.

For over two decades, DeStefano Architects has been providing award-winning design services to discerning homeowners.  The firm’s residential design experience includes one-of-a-kind custom residences and home renovation projects to meet current needs of families throughout New England.
