Development Associates co-brokers with Macmillan & Sons on purchase of 80,040 s/f industrial facility

Chicopee, MA Development Associates of Agawam, has co-brokered the purchase of the former Dow Jones mail facility with the seller’s agents: Doug Macmillan of Macmillan & Sons of Springfield, and the Fischer Co. of Dallas.

The property, known as 102 First Ave., is located at the intersection of I-90 (Mass. Turnpike) and I-291. The 80,040 s/f building, which is now available for lease, is ideal for manufacturing/distribution/warehouse. The facility features 5 dock doors along with a recessed side-loading dock, finished offices, open space area, and a large warehouse with plenty of on-site parking. Development Associates secured the financing for one of it’s affiliated investor groups through their relationship with Chicopee Savings Bank.

Development Assocs., a commercial real estate development company, has added this property to its property management portfolio of over 2 million s/f of commercial real estate in Northern Conn and Mass.
