Devino and Felt of SullivanHayes Companies broker $280,000 sale

Pamela Devino and Jeremy Felt of SullivanHayes Companies in Farmington, recently brokered the $280,000 sale of a .34 acre parcel at 1146 Farmington Ave. (Rte. 6). The site contains the former Taco Bell building and is located directly across the street from Home Depot. Devino and DJM Asset Management of Melville, NY represented Yum Brands, the seller, and Felt represented the buyer, Nutmeg Burger Corp. on behalf of Checkers Restaurants. The existing building is being remodeled and a late January opening is projected. This location will be the first Checkers in Connecticut. Headquartered in Tampa, Fla,, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. is one of the largest chains of double drive-thru restaurants in the U.S. The company operates more than 815 Checkers and Rally's restaurants in 28 states and the District of Columbia with restaurants also operating in Israel and American Samoa. They specialize in hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, and milkshakes.
