DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP's (DGC) 4th Annual A&E Summit will feature guest speaker Thomas O'Neill, founder and CEO of O'Neill and Associates, who will discuss how the upcoming election year and changing political landscape may impact architectural and engineering (A&E) firms. The summit will be held on Wednesday, June 6th from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Westin Waltham, 30 3rd Ave. The event is expected to attract over 100 C-level professionals including owners, principals, CFOs and others with direct ties to the A&E industry. In addition to discussing potential political scenarios, a panel of experts will address trends, challenges and opportunities specific to the A&E industry. The panel includes David Sullivan, a CPA with DGC; George Christodoulo, an attorney with Lawson & Weitzen LLP, and Ian Rusk, a valuation expert with Rusk O'Brien Guido + Partners, each of whom will contribute their respective tax, legal and valuation expertise. "This is an election year and that creates uncertainty for business owners," said Sullivan, a partner in the commercial business group at DGC and head of the firm's A&E niche. "We have made it the topic of this year's summit so we can get out in front of it. We are hoping people will walk away from this summit feeling better prepared and able to make more informed decisions when the time comes." O'Neill, a former state legislator who served as lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, is the founder and CEO of O'Neill and Associates, a public relations and government affairs consulting firm with offices in Boston and Washington, D.C., that integrates federal, state and local government relations with strategic communications, media relations and marketing to provide custom public affairs campaigns to clients. DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP is one of New England's most respected CPA and business advisory firms with specialized expertise in the A&E and Commercial Real Estate industries. As an independent member firm of Moore Stephens North America, DGC has access to a global network of technical expertise and best practices.
