Alfred DiVincentis, a partner at the law firm of Halloran & Sage LLP, was recently selected by the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut (AGC) as the recipient of their 2010 Supplier/Service Provider award.
Criteria for this award includes: a high level of leadership; a willingness to learn; a desire to excel; an understanding of construction principles and theory; a high skill level, developed through education and job experience; the experience, discipline and focus to bring thoughtfulness and skill together successfully in various types of construction projects; and an adherence to fair and responsible business practices. DiVincentis was the only attorney nominated in the Supplier/Service Provider category.
The AGC of Connecticut Industry Recognition Awards were established in 2005 to recognize leading individuals from the commercial construction industry who have demonstrated skills, integrity, and responsibility in their careers.
DiVincentis specializes in construction and commercial litigation. Before becoming a lawyer, DiVincentis spent 15 years working his way up the ranks in construction, ultimately becoming vice president of a major Conn. construction company.
