DMG Brokerage completes $2.7 million sale of 55 Accord Park Dr.

Rockland, MA DMG Brokerage completed thel sale of 55 Accord Park Dr. for $2.7 million. The 26,000 s/f commercial property presented a unique marketing challenge due to its 60% vacancy and site restrictions that limited potential redevelopment options. After evaluating the property’s highest and best use, DMG Brokerage repositioned the marketing strategy toward owner-occupant businesses that could take advantage of the building’s existing improvements, Rte. 3 visibility, elevator access, high-end finishes, and existing tenant income.

Daniel Gardner of DMG Brokerage represented the seller and the buyer and led the marketing and sale process.  The transaction closed on June 24th.

“This transaction is a good example of why understanding the property and adjusting the marketing strategy matters,” said Gardner. “Once it became clear that redevelopment was not the best path, we focused on finding an existing business that could utilize the building in its current configuration. That ultimately created the right match for the property and the seller.”
