Dooling Woodbrier Architects completes design of 4,000 s/f Verizon store
Dooling Woodbrier Architects, Inc. (DWA) has recently completed the design of a 4,000 s/f Verizon Wireless store on Woodbury Ave. The site, a former Kentucky Fried Chicken, was developed by Churchill & Banks of Providence, R.I., and is currently being built by Hoyt Construction of Plymouth, Mass.
The design represents a collaboration obetween DWA and Verizon with special attention to planning board issues as well as visibility from Woodbury Ave., all while maintaining existing setbacks from the neighboring wetlands. This project contributes to the revitalization of Woodbury Ave. as one of Portsmouth's most important retail thoroughfares.
The project is being managed by Will Chalfant from DWA and Jake Leary of Hoyt Construction. Opening is scheduled for this spring.
