Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa names RHYS Commercial agent
Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, the prominent day spa and hair salon, is looking for new locations in both Greenwich and Westport.
The luxury spa retailer, whose services are available at over 31 nationwide locations and whose flagship is based in New York City, has just appointed real estate services company, RHYS Commercial, to handle its regional expansion exclusively in Fairfield County. Currently, the spa operator has one other location in the area, in Darien at 1077 Boston Post Rd.
On average, Red Door requires between 5,000 to 5,500 s/f of space, according to RHYS, which is seeking out locations with excellent visibility, high traffic and good access. The new storefronts should also have enough space to accommodate treatment rooms and a wide collection of the retailer's premium skincare products and cosmetics, in addition to an extravagant relaxation lounge for customers to relax post beauty treatments.
"We are delighted to assist in the expansion of one of the country's leading providers of prestigious day spa products and cosmetics," said Dominick Musilli, an executive vice president at RHYS Commercial and head of its Retail Division, who is representing Red Door Spa. "Both Greenwich and Westport offer some of the most densely populated and highly trafficked areas in all of Connecticut, as well as an affluent customer base which will be a great fit for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa."

Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
