Dow Jones' new office furniture

Environments at Work, one of New England's premier Haworth office furniture dealer, has completed furniture design, project management and procurement for Dow Jones' new office space. A leading provider of global business news and information services, Dow Jones' cornerstone is its flagship publication, The Wall Street Journal, which is one of the world's leading business publication.
Facing the addition of approximately 35 employees to its new office space in Waltham, Dow Jones enlisted Environments at Work as the local Boston-area Haworth dealer to facilitate the furniture design, procurement and project management. Dow Jones' corporate standards dictate the use of Haworth products throughout their offices.
"Turning to a single source to provide the layout design of our existing furniture, coordinate the procurement of new offices and seating, and provide project management support made for an easy and successful transition into our new space," said Tom Hatrak, facilities project supervisor for Dow Jones. "Environments at Work paid careful attention to our corporate standards and worked closely with our installation crew to ensure the job was done right."
Environments at Work outfitted 7 private offices with new furniture from Groupe Lacasse. In addition, new seating and keyboard trays were provided for existing workstations, which were relocated from a Dow Jones office in New York. The keyboard trays were designed by Humanscale.
The selected seating is Haworth Zody, crisply designed task chairs with a patent-pending asymmetrical lumbar support system. Scientifically engineered for comfort and support, the Zody is the first task chair to be endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association. It is also environmentally-sensitive and is certified as a Cradle to Cradle Gold Product by McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry, LLC.

"This project allowed our furniture team to personally ensure a seamless transition for Dow Jones into the workstations and offices in their new facility," said Tina Kuczynski, account manager for Environments at Work. "We began by designing the layout for the existing furniture, worked closely with the company's standards to fulfill new furniture needs, and assisted with project management during the installation. Working with such a knowledgeable and focused client made the entire process go smoothly."
Environments at Work features the latest furniture and architectural products from Haworth and many other manufacturers complementary to the Haworth life of office furniture, including DarRan, Egan, Harter, HBF, Human Scale, Nemschoff, Krug and Sit On It.
