EnviroVantage wins Excellence in Construction Award from the New Hampshire/Vermont chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association for work on The Gables Dormitories at University of New Hampshire

Epping, NH EnviroVantage, a fully licensed, full service commercial, industrial and residential  environmental and specialty services contractor, was honored by the New Hampshire/Vermont chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association (ABC NH/VT) at their annual Excellence in Construction Awards Ceremony with a Merit Award for their work on The Gables Dormitories at The University of New Hampshire.

The event, attended by over 250 people, honored outstanding work in the construction industry over the last 12 months.

“The Gables is one of the most intense projects we have ever undertaken” said EnviroVantage president Scott Knightly. “3 dormitories, 1,134 rooms, in 53) work areas with 100 employees and 10 days to completely demo and clean the areas was a monumental feat, one in which we are proud of our team for accomplishing.”

The Gables Summer Slammer project included a total time window of 68 days to totally rehabilitate 3 dormitories, with the time period between when school let out in late May until late August when the students returned for fall classes.

ABC NH/VT president Mike Holden was quick to note that “EnviroVantage is one of our most involved and active members.  Not only do they participate in leadership, training, networking and helping to grow our chapter, they are also involved helping to grow the leadership qualities of their own staff by participating in programs such as Future Leaders in Construction.  The fact they won this  award is an outgrowth of their commitment to quality workmanship and a safe working environment for their employees.”
