ERA Key Realty named among top places to work

Northbridge, MA ERA Key Realty Services, which has 14 offices throughout central and eastern Mass., has been named among the top places to work in the state, based on a survey administered by Energage for The Boston Globe.

ERA Key placed fifth and was the highest ranking real estate agency in the large company category. The anonymous survey of more than 75,000 employees at 334 companies asked questions based on management, training, direction, job satisfaction and other areas.

“We recognize that a real estate agency is only as good as the Realtors and staff who represent it,” said president and COO Cheryl Eidinger-Taylor. “We want everyone at ERA Key to be well-trained and content with their work. Their professionalism provides them with a competitive advantage and helps them to succeed.”

In addition to providing regular training and career development programs for agents, Eidinger-Taylor makes herself available to advise and mentor agents.

“Cheryl has always worked to help our agents grow their individual business, and to better understand the laws of the commonwealth and the practical requirements of becoming a great real estate agent,” said ERA Key chairman Bruce Taylor. “She has pioneered the development and implementation of many tools and technologies, so that our agents have the advantage of being the best informed and most knowledgeable of any agents in the marketplace.”

Eidinger-Taylor said this approach has played a key role in the agency’s rapid growth. ERA Key now has more than 350 agents and about $750 million in annual sales.

ERA Key is among the top 10 agencies in Massachusetts, based on sales volume, and is among the top 10 franchises out of more than 2,400 worldwide in the ERA Franchise System. ERA Key won the Momentum Award as the fastest growing ERA franchise in 2012 and the Gene Francis Memorial Award as the Top All-Around Company in ERA in 2014.

ERA Key Realty Services of Northbridge, Mass., has 14 offices throughout central and eastern Massachusetts and is among the 10 largest residential real estate agencies in Massachusetts based on the number of homes sold. It is also among the top 10 agencies in the ERA Franchise System, which has more than 2,400 agencies worldwide.
