ERA Norton Group appointed by Regency Centers at Twin City Plaza
Regency Centers, a national owner, operator and developer of grocery-anchored and community shopping centers, has recently appointed ERA The Norton Group to lease its office space at Twin City Plaza. According to Howard Schussler, Regency Centers' leasing agent, the second floor office space includes from 1,500 to approximately 18,000 contiguous s/f available at I-4 and 22 McGrath Hwy.
Twin City Plaza is a 285,767 s/f shopping center and office development which is anchored by a 62,500 s/f Shaw's supermarket, a 40,200 s/f Marshalls along with Rite Aid, Dollar Tree, Gold's Gym, K&G Menswear, Bank of America, T-Mobile and a wide variety of retailers, restaurants and service businesses.
Regency is one of the leading national owners, operators, and developers of grocery-anchored and community shopping centers. As of March 31, 2009, the company owned 413 retail properties, including those held in co-investment partnerships. Including tenant-owned square footage, the portfolio encompassed 55.3 million s/f located in top markets throughout the U.S. Since 2000 Regency has developed 195 shopping centers, including those currently in-process, representing an investment at completion of $3 billion.
Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
This may seem self-serving, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But unlike some of the artificial intelligence tools now reshaping our industry, I am fully aware of my own bias. So, hear me out. The rise of AI in commercial real estate is not a distant threat or a speculative headline.
