Erland Construction completes multifamily development for Nordblom Company

Burlington, MA Erland Construction has completed construction of a new multifamily housing development knowns as The Tremont at 32 Second Ave. for Nordblom Company, whose history with Erland spans 39 years. Located within the 3rd Ave. mixed-use development, the residents of this apartment community have multiple shopping, entertainment, and dining options at their doorstep.

This new complex features 180 rental units, a detached parking deck for 122 cars, and surface parking for another 189 vehicles. Designed by Cube 3, as a single 4-story building with three wings, tenant amenities include an outdoor swimming pool in one of the courtyards.

The Tremont began with demolition of an existing office building as part of the continued transformation of Northwest Park into 3rd Ave.

Upon completion of The Tremont, Erland was awarded the second phase of housing at the 3rd Ave. development. Construction is now underway.

Todd Nordblom, project manager for Nordblom said this of Erland’s tireless commitment to The Tremont project: “It is hard to estimate the number of after-hour texts and weekend phone calls which Erland quickly and professionally responded to. They treated the building as if it were their own.”
